CPF (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2010 Personality Test results

UPSC has announced the result the Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants), Examination 2010. The written exam was held on 24th October, 2010 and the Personality Test held in August-September, 2011. Candidates have been recommended for appointment to BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and CISF.

A total no. 840 candidates, recommended for appointment, include 366 General, 255 OBC, 145 SC and 74 ST candidates.

Appointment to various Services will be made according to number of vacancies available and due consideration to the provisions contained in the Rules for the Examination.

The no. of vacancies reported for BSF is 284 (145 General, 76 OBC, 42 SC and 21 ST); for theCRPF is 426 (214 General, 115 OBC, 65 SC and 32 ST); for the ITBP Force is 39 (24 General, 05 OBC, 05 SC and 05 ST); SSB is 119 (60 General, 32 OBC, 18 SC and 09 ST) and for CISF is 102 (53 General, 27 OBC, 15 SC and 07 ST).

In accordance with Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2010, the Commission is maintaining a Consolidated Reserve List of 260 candidates ranking in order of merit below the last recommended candidate under respective category, which include 130 General, 113 Other Backward Classes, 08 Scheduled Castes and 09 Scheduled Tribes candidates.

Result will also be available on the U.P.S.C. web site i.e., http/www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks on the web site will be available in due course for a period of thirty days.
