Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today, i.e. 26th May 2013, successfully conducted its Prelims Exam as part of The Civil Services Recruitment 2013. Around 10 Lakhs students have applied for the Preliminary examination 2013 across the country.
This examination containing two papers one in morning shift (General Studies) and the other in evening shift (CSAT & Mental Ability) were conducted successfully. Each paper is for 200 Max. Marks. As every year the General studies paper is important one for students because it plays more decisive role in the selection during this first stage, and generally paper-II is scoring paper for most of the candidates.
According to the prelims exam of the previous recruitment the cut-off for this prelims can be around 220 including the both papers, with minimum cut-off in each paper varying as per difficulty in them.
