1.)University Town (Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Centre)

Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center will add 8 more sports stadiums and 1 center district sports stadium. The buildings will serve as 2007 Universiade’s main stadiums, and 2010 Asia Games backup stadiums. The investments in the sports stadiums total 1.2 billion yuan. According to the construction plan, the center district sports stadium can host an audience of 40,000. It will be Guangzhou's third largest sports stadium.
