World Champions, India, registered an emotional victory against the former world champions Australia, and pushed them to 5th position in the points table, preserving their Top Position in the Team rankings.
Indians displayed a wonderful effort to finish the match as a historic win in all aspects of game. Debutant Cheteshwara Pujara(72 of 89 balls) displayed a wonderful character in chasing down the target of 207 runs. Batting Maestro Sachin Tendulkar(53 of 77 balls) also played his hand in the second innings along with his superb knock in the first innings(214 of 363 balls).
