Applications are invited from Citizens of India under Para-3 of this Notice, for the following Group `B` Selection Posts. Descriptions of posts are mentioned at Para-1 and other terms and conditions are mentioned at Para-4 to Para-20 of this Notice. Willing applicants under Para-3 of this Notice are advised to go through all parameters under different Paras and Sub-Paras of this Notice and satisfy themselves about their suitability on Age-limit and Essential Qualification(s) for the posts, before applying.

Senior Technical Assistant
1. Geology : 70 posts (UR-50, SC-4, ST-3, OBC-13)
2. Chemical : 61 posts (UR-39, SC-6, ST-2, OBC-14)
3. Geo-Physics : 21 posts (UR-18, OBC-03)
4. Mineral-Physics : 01 post (UR-1)
5. Geophysics Workshop : 15 posts (UR-12, OBC-03),
Scale of Pay : PB 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Upto 28/30 years (Age relaxation is admissible as per Instructions).
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or its equivalent of a recognised University or Institute Or Diploma in applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
Junior Technical Assistant
1. Geology : 44 posts (UR-30, SC-3, ST-2, OBC-9)
2. Chemical : 61 posts (UR-39, SC-7, ST-2, OBC-13)
3. Geophysics Workshop : 37 posts (UR-26, SC-4, ST-1, OBC-06),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Upto 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Master degree in Geology or Applied Geology or diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines. (ii) ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificates of National Cadet Corps Training
